Russ Ambassador Makes Statement to Japan

TOKYO, Dec. 14.—The Navy Department announces the destroyers Fuji and Tsuta have reached Tientsin and landed 50 sailors.

Russian Ambassador Kopp, in a statement to Foreign Minister Shidehara said: "In view of the rumors suspecting a peaceful policy of the United States of the Soviet Republic aiming at prejudice in relations with Japan, I have the honor to declare the United States of the Soviet Republic does not pursue in the Far East any aggressive plans and does not intend to menace any interest of Japan."
