From the N Y Evening Post.
Several Canadian French have arrived in great discontent at Boston, having been banished from the English province by order of the governor, on suspicion of their intriguing in counter politics to the established authorities. So bold a measure as never been resorted to by the English, unless under martial law in the colonies, or a suspension of the habeas corpus act in the mother country. [This last sentiment is a mistake; It is the practice in all the British colonies, to seize upon without even any after notice of the cause, any man whom a man in power may take offence at, and seize upon, deprive him of fortune and liberty, and transport him from one quarter of the globe to another without hearing trial, or the possibility of obtaining redress we know numerous instances of such despotic of British justice.]-Aurora.
