SECRETARY WILL VISIT NORTH IN THE EARLY FALL

EARLY COMPLETION OF INVESTIGATION DESIRED BY FALL TO ALLOW VISIT TO ALASKA

WASHINGTON, D. C., August 14—It was announced by the department of the interior that Secretary Fall had expressed as his intention the visiting of the Pacific Coast and Alaska within the near future.

The contemplated visit depends on the completion of the senate investigations now being made on the leases of oil lands to private operators in the naval oil reserves in Wyoming and California. Should these be completed in time the trip will be made.
