LAKE WEIR W. C. T. U.
Lake Weir, Jan. 15.-The meeting of Jan. 9th opened with a good attendance. The president, Mrs. Reed, presided and read the 32nd Psalm for Scripture lesson. The roll call was followed by reading and approval of minutes of previous meeting. Mrs. Simpson read the quarterly report of the treasurer, which was accepted. Secretary's bill for postage for quarter was ordered paid. In the absence of Dr. Swan, superintendent of medical temperance, the members held a general discussion of the subject for the day, Infantile Paralysis. Mrs. Sigmon spoke of plans of work for the coming year. Annual reports were distributed. No further business was transacted and adjournment was taken for two weeks.
