DETROIT, MICH.-When the first new 1946 Hudson rolled off the production line here, Orville Wright, Dayton Ohio, (left) inventor of the aeroplane and Col. H. Nelson Jackson, of Burlington, Vt., man to cross the country by automobile, were the "official spotters. The pioneers who made transportation history in the 1900s hailed the new Hudson with its complete new front, many exterior changes and completely new interior as a great advance in automobile progress.
