Gates Girls Do Well
At Louisburg College
Louisburg, November 23—Three students at Louisburg College from Gates County, Julia Brown Hudgins and Catherine Blanchard both of Trotville, are making excellent records and are among the outstanding students at the College.

Miss Hudgins and Miss Blanchard are making excellent grades and also participate in a wide variety in extra-curricular activities.

Miss Hudgins is house president and a member of the Girls' Student Council; vice-president of the senior class; hiking leader of the Hiking Club; member of the social committee of the Y. W. C. A. and took part in the observance of Halloween, reciting the humorous poem, "Foolish Questions", to an assemblage of faculty and students.

Catherine Blanchard is treasurer of the Y. W. C. A. and senior class representative on the Girls Student Government Council. She also takes part in the girls' athletic events and other activities of the college.
