Minnesota Governor Issues First Veto

St. Paul, Feb. 3.-(P)-Using his veto power for the first time in the 1933 legislative session, Governor Floyd B. Olson Friday returned unsigned the bank moratorium bill, which would permit "holidays" up to 15 days' duration under supervision of the state banking commissioner.

The chief executive recommended the legislature to re-pass the act with an amendment providing for the termination of its operation in January, 1935, instead of an indefinite extension.
