Ann Arbor, May 17—Certificates have just been received by seven women, members of the third government-sponsored University class in mapping, with graduating exercises in the West Engineering Building.

Three of the seven are from Ann Arbor, Mrs. Marlen Wren has accepted a position with the Army Map Service at Washington; Miss Ruth Hollister will take an Army position at either Syracuse, N. Y., or Tulsa, Okla.; and Miss Edna E. Clement is undecided on an Army Map Service offer.

Prof. Robert H. Sherlock of the civil engineering department was speaker at the graduation exercises. Prof. Roger L. Morrison of the highway engineering and transportation department is administrator of the mapping course.
