FORD LOCALS
Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Smith and daughter Mary Elouise and Miss Edna Lindstrom spent one evening last week at the M. W. Lakeberg home.
Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Lindstrom and daughter Edna and son William and Miss Dorothy Fleming spent Sunday at the A. Bassett home.
Mrs. Jesse Colover and daughter are spending a week or two with Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Sundberg, before returning to her home in Missouri,
Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Bassett and sons and Mr. and Mrs. Victor Elfstrum and children spent Saturday evening at the Walter Lakeberg home.
Henry Olson and Carl Peterson were callers in Quamba Saturday.
Miss Estella Wedman and Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Adams were callers at the C. H. Foust home one evening last week.
Clifford Hannah was a Mora caller Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Olson and daughter were Mora callers Saturday.
Reginald Horne called at the Bassett home Friday evening.
Reginald Horne returned home last Friday from Wisconsin.
Mrs. Clarence Foust and daughter Pearl spent Tuesday at the A. Bassett home.
Mr. and Mrs. A. Bassett and sons spent Friday evening at the A. Lindstrom home.
Clinton Bassett spent the week end at his parental home.
Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Smith and daughter Mary Elouise and Mrs. Walter Lakeberg were Mora callers Saturday.
The P. T. A. meeting held in Balsam Grove school house was well attended. The pupils gave a very nice program. After the program, here are a couple of items that were given to the older folks to try their minds on. The questions were given on paper and they had to answer them as follows:
1. Aged and a southern city-Oldsmobile.
2. A man's name and darkness-Wyllis Knight.
3. A golfer's need and to want Knickerbocker
4. A river in U. S.-Hudson.
5. A tree and a term for earth-Oakland.
6. To avoid-Dodge.
7. A Greek goddess-Diana.
8. A rock-Flint
9. A wild animal-Wolverine.
10. Intoxicated and a maker of pastry-Studebaker.
11. A president of U. S.-Lincoln
12. To penetrate and a primitive weapon Pierce Arrow.
And the next item was as follows:
