Holland Recovering From Crash Injuries
The condition of Houston Holland, 16, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Holland, of the Market street road, who was seriously injured in an automobile smash Sunday morning on the Princess street road, "seems satisfactory," attendants at James Walker Memorial hospital reported last night.
State highway patrolmen reported a car driven by Holland left the highway and sideswiped a tree after a left front tire blew out. Two other occupants of the car, Jesse Lee and Raymond Nichols, of route one, Wilmington, were painfully but not seriously hurt.
