ROYALISTS RECONSIDER.

The Emma Square Meeting Indefinitely Postponed.

The Royalists and their allies, the alleged Republicans, have concluded that their meeting to-night had better be postponed.

The reason for this new departure is that none of the men who intended to talk are anxious to risk a sojourn in the Hotel de Hitchcock. What they say is that the "good news" about Blount's being opposed to Annexation makes a meeting inadvisable. They remark that they prefer to let their cause stay as it is, subject to the alleged good wishes of the American Minister.

In the meantime discretion appears to be the larger part of their valor.
