Full Text
The Representatives of Virginia, with but one or two exceptions, have been true to the honor of their State, and their firm and determined course commands the utmost respect.
Mr. Rives seems utterly at a loss what to do-the stand which has been taken by the Virginia delegation has put him all aback. What will be his course on the Force Bill and Deposit Question? are questions daily asked. It seems to be the wish that he may be allowed to act untrammelled on the first, and that he will be instructed to vote in favor of the return of the deposits to the U. S. Bank.- Richmond Whig
