Full Text

Graves is the name the villain (noticed in our last) thought proper to wear in Lynchburg--who filched from the merchant's drawer Bank paper for $160--

On his arrival he offered for sale martingal rings, and other saddlery articles. These he sold for one third less than what he at first demanded, and for half less than prime cost. He also offered for sale two silver watches, the one supposed to be English, (new)-- the other French, somewhat worn: --all doubtless the fruits of recent villainy. as he was just from Richmond, whither 'tis supposed he returned--It is an insult and an injury to the community at large, to permit such daring, barefaced freebooters to escape with impunity.
