Crash Victims Will Recover

That both A. B. Hipolite, 50, and his son, N. E. Hipolite, will recover from injuries suffered in an automobile accident on the Holtville highway near the golf course Sunday morning was the announcement today from the Valley hospital in Holtville, where both are under care.

A medical examination today had disclosed the elder Hipolite, at first thought to be fatally injured, is suffering from broken ribs, a dislocated collar bone and a broken shoulder.

His son is suffering from a fractured skull, a broken collar bone and a broken rib.

The two were injured when their car was struck in a headon collision by an automobile driven by William Powell of Springfield, Ill. Powell also was injured slightly. The two men in the Valley hospital are from Alhambra.
